DDK is a live magazine with different guests from various disciplines of photography. The evening consists of short interviews and presentations, current affairs on photography and attention to interesting events and exhibitions. A regular feature of the program is ‘the pitch’. Three photographers will have the chance to use the principle of crowdfunding to collect money for their photo project. DDK is a collaboration between DuPho, Pakhuis de Zwijger Amsterdam and PhotoQ. The first episode was in Amsterdam in 2011.

In DDK #29 on 19 September, Issa Touma was interviewed by Edie Peters. He talked about the three projects he iniated and developed with Paradox: Women We Have Not Lost Yet, 9 Days – From My Window in Aleppo, and Studio Aleppo. Other gasts at this live magazine on photography were author Merel Bem, photographer Lien Botha and curator Annemarie Zethof (Ibasho gallery).
