Mondriaan Fund to continue to support Paradox in 2017

We are happy to announce that on March 28, the Mondriaan Fund revised its report regarding Paradox’ plans for 2017-2018. The continued support implies that we will be able to continue producing meaningful projects through 2017 for you. Despite the turn, both the initial and the current report reveal the growing tension between contemporary documentary practice and the visual arts.

Paradox cares as much about the relationship with film and journalism as it does with the visual arts that photography is administratively part of and as a consequence is subsidiary to. To be continued, as photography organisations in the Netherlands have taken the initiative to critically research the position of photography in cultural politics.
