Curator and project manager
Anne Ruygt (1988) studied Art History at Leiden University and holds an MA in Museum Curating from VU University/University of Amsterdam. Between 2010 and 2016 she was part of the curatorial team at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. She curated various collection displays and exhibitions, including Bernadette Corporation (2016), Addition – Gift of Pieter and Marieke Sanders (2015) and On the Move – Storytelling in Contemporary Photography and Graphic Design (2014). In 2016 she published an anthology of Dutch photography criticism, in collaboration with Frits Gierstberg and nai010 publishers. Last year she researched the photography collections of Tate and Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, coordinated the public programme at Unseen and worked as an interim curator at FOMU in Antwerp. Currently, she hosts De Donkere Kamer talk show and writes about photography for magazines including Metropolis M and EXTRA. At Paradox, she works as a curator and project manager for Welkom Today.
