Since 2014, photographer Issa Touma travels back to his hometown Aleppo on a regular basis. He meets his friends and relatives, visits his gallery and films the everyday life in the city. Together with the Dutch film makers Floor van der Meulen and Thomas Vroege, he made the short film Greetings from Aleppo, a homage to the resilience of the Aleppean people.

The film, co-produced by DeepFocus WebDocs and Paradox, is launched at the online medium De Correspondent. You can watch Greetings from Aleppo here (Dutch subs only).
