Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression. But around the world writers, artists and musicians are censored, persecuted and imprisoned for exercising their rights. What is it about art, music and literature that frightens people in power? On November 19, photographer Issa Touma participates in a panel discussion Dangerous ideas – freedom of expression and the right to culture, together with other artists who have found a safe haven in Sweden.

The panel discussion is part of MR Dagarna: Scandinavia’s biggest venue for inspiration, debates, professional development and networking in the area of human rights. They bring up the most current issues, challenges and opportunities and find new ways of involvement and collaboration.
